Hayabusa regulator, gen one single plug.

The plugs a bit fried, so is it ok to do away with the plug and just solder the joints ? I'm guessing its fried due to corrosion/ill fitting over time as outputs are all as they should be ?

Secondly, would it be an improvement to rune the -ve side back to the negative on the battery, it currently disappears into the loom ?

Think I will pull all the wires out the loom and check there length, they have been hot.
