I've recently just installed the DIY quickshifter (thanks to Maplins) and wanted to know what Kill Times people are runningbefore i activate the software and take it for a run?
Dynojet quickshifters use a default kill time of 65ms.
Care to share info on the diy quickshifter?
Ta.
I'm running a Dynojet QS on mine and it's set at 58ms. I tried 55ms but it wasn't keen on it. Let me know how your homemade job works -
will be interested to see how it goes. A vid would be great, too.
Cheers,
Sean

Presumably these home made systems utilise a microswitch to kill the spark somewhere in line in the gear linkage?
Any of the guys running these got pics of the install? Just curious...
