Bought a new dg8 gear indicator light from ebay (from a shop)

Every time I turn on the ignition the colour changes? I haven't programmed it yet as I'm not that far in the build, just wondering what's going on?

Anyone got ideas? I was thinking maybes stuck in a test mode...

I have just bought "Red/blue Universal Digital Gear Indicator for Motorcycle" ITEM EBAY:181020516025

I was thinking of fitting a Flatshifer do the signals that feed the Flatshifter aslo capable of feeding the Gear Indicator.
