My clutch cable is a standard Westfield unit. I have it connected to my Blade motor and can disengage/engage the clutch. However, when I disengage the
clutch, the inner cable does not allow the ctuch to return to the engaged position. The cable is not connected to the pedal--I'm pulling it with
my hand.
I've looked through many build site and it does not appear as though the other builders are using a secondary spring to pull return the clutch to
the engaged position.
Does this seem right? Does anyone have any suggestions?

I used the clutch return spling on the pedal as well.

Do you have any pics?

It doesnt sound right if you can pull the clutch cable with just your hand, are you sure you're not just taking up the slack when doing that? The
clutch lever should end up pointing towards the general direction of the oil filter when the clutch is disengaged (ie approx "11-o-clock"
when looking at the engine from the gearbox side), and its not something you can usually do with your hand without a lever to assist.

Yes, the clutch disengages exactly as you describe. I can do this by pulling on the cable. In fact, I can disengage the clutch just using my hand
(cable removed).
The clutch lever has a spring on it--it is just weak. I assumed that it was standard because the rider would use his hand. Should the spring on the
clutch lever (on the gearbox) be increadibly stiff where it would be difficult to pull with my hand? Perhaps mine is broken. I'll have another
look, but any other suggestions??
OK, just had a look. Seems like the spring is standard Honda affair. Do any blade owners have a close up picture of their clutch lever assembly? Seems
everyone leaves these off the build sites.
