DownDraught carbs

I was asked a question today, what bike carbs will work in a downdraught set-up, I thought Suzuki tl, but they all seem to be injected.

Not many ports are truly verticle so what about a X cross manifold

Yamaha yzf600r are mounted almost vertically on the bike. Picture on here http://www.yzf600r.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=59919. I bought two sets to use on a v6 but never finished the project before moving on to the next.

Carbed R1s to 2001 were as vertical as you'll get.

Yamaha XZ550K Vision, two mikuni's bolted together, looks like a down draft weber with air horns.

R1 mounted correctly are only about 45 degrees, what I would call semi downdraft..I tried to down load a picture but failed.....

CBR600 carbs are normally vertical, give or take 10 degrees or so. I use mine at about 10 degrees above horizontal - doesn't seem to bother them!
