Golf club graphite shaft! Super strong and mega light weight
Cut down shock absorber rod, nice shiny chrome with a car gear knob planted on top, it lands on a simple pivot with rod going forward.
The gator is a cut down old steering rack bellow.
MK do one that looks amazing.
Do you guys have any pictures of links?
Description
MK's above.
Whatever you go for it's worth drilling and pinning the lower bolt. I had a rod-eye with a bolt and nut at the bottom of the gearlever connected to a pushrod and the heat in the transmission tunnel effected the nylock nut. At least that's what I think caused the failure. Certainly it fell off and I was left in 3rd gear 30 minutes away from where I was driving to. Luckily all the traffic lights were green and I managed to keep enough speed over the speedbumps to use some clutch action without stalling and go to my destination. I had a basic toolkit but of course not the hex key I needed to take off the transmission tunnel.... And no spare nuts
Good advice, thank you.
The MK one looks amazing, that may just fit the bill.
