I saw a mk2 escort with a hayabusa motor yesterday
Got me thinking! I have a couple of suitable cars I could use and whole bikes are available for "reasonable" money
I'm looking for advice on basic things like,
Propshaft/drive line
Reverse gear
Gear shifter
Wiring
I would hope to use as much as possible from the donor bike then hopefully sell the rest on
Thanks in advance
Ian
Why would you want to put a bike engine in a tin-top? Bike engines work well in lightweight cars. Just my opinion of course
Roughly anything over 725kg is a no goer for a bike engine, toomuch stress on clutch/ gearbox etc
I thought that too, the owner of the car I saw just had a problem with the clutch initially but reckons it drives well now.
I suppose the big suzuki engine is quite torquey( for a bike motor) and the sound...
If you want a car with bike engine why not buy my Fury !!!
How much is the fury?

It's on Pistonheads for £8500, spent thousands on this car, it's super quick, worth a look
