anyone know where it is within my loom as what to connect a gear indicator

Sensor itself is on the side of gearbox, near your brake master cylinder.
Pretty close together will be neutral switch which has one wire going to it, and speed sensor which has three wires.

It's plug I'm after as demon tweeks do a plug and play gipro

There are litterly wires and plugs everywhere engine was fitted by Aries but was 2 years ago

If you locate the sensor the plug is only a few inches back up the wiring

top switch with one wire is neutral switch, lower one is speed sensor and triangular wiring plug is speed sensor plug.
not 100% sure 5vy will be identical to my 5jj but won't be much different.

think ive found it was other side that was confusing me as theres not 1 wire theres 2

Its got to be in gearbox, think your looking at wrong sensor if only got two wires.
