How does a quickshifter work? What does it mean in reality for Joe average..?

How does it compare with flatshifter? Does it do the down shift blip too?

It just looks like it uses a pressure sensitive strain gauge to cut power to coil packs like most of them do. Although it's very compact and looks easy to setup.
I've got a translogic on mine but not used it yet

I really can't see how they could speed up a normal clutchless up shift (apart from fractions of a second, so, would only be useful if for racing?!) The ones that auto blip for a down shift would be interesting though.

Just my thoughts of course

I've got a Healtech QSE on my RR7 HRC & looking at fitting one to my carbed RRX lump in my MK Indyblade.

In reality they don't give a massive increase in lap times but they sound the nuts upshifting at full chat!!

Still have to blip on downshifts though...
