Hi everyone, can you run any of the blade engines with a wet sump and a baffle or do they need a dry sump kit?

Thanks
Marc

wet sump is fine. Ideally a billet sump with baffle plate from AB Performance.

Ace,does that go for all blade engines?

Pretty much, i've ran a 919 and currently a 998 and they've both had the AB sumps and if memory serves.....shortened strainers. Both in race situations.

Standard sump is fine

I have had mine 4 years now and had no problems with oil (unless you do something silly like not tighten the sump plug or knock it loose on a large speed bump).

My oil pressure stays steady on long fast corners, accelerating and braking.

I'm after a billet sump now purely to solve my ground clearance issues, though it isn't essential as long as you know the sump is low (on my car anyway)
