Throttle cable with correct end?
Banana - 4/3/17 at 06:18 PM

Quick question, as i know this subject has been done to death.

I need a new throttle cable (simple) however im mindful of having the correct fitting at the carburettor side of things. Which would be the 'barrel' type end.

I could get a mountian bike one like this 1 x GALVANIZED STEEL MTB MOUNTAIN BIKE BRAKE INNER CABLES

But not guarantee the nipple will fit the carburettor side.

So what do you guys do for a long cable, with the correct fitting at the carb end?

Ha yes, i just thought i could go to a bike shop and compare.. So obsessed with ordering off the internet it didnt cross my mind..

Did you find that a bike cable with barrel nipple fitted your carbs ok?

Yes I had a zx9r engine in my striker Halfords was a bit dearer than the price on the internet but I got it there and then .if you went into any bike shop you should be able to get a match I even used one for my clutch cable
