Saw these at Silverstone last year, they feel like you are picking up a plastic toy.
The chap selling them said they will crank quickly but not for a long time, I believe you get a large capacitor and lithium battery within the case
hence the instant power.
If my car floods the plugs, which it can do in seconds it takes ages to start, usually have to cook the plugs and stick them in hot!
So recommended or not?
I've got one and it fires up my st1100 just fine- mine is a different Manafacturer but looks identical in every way other than the label . The only idiosyncrasy is if it seems to be struggling (not that it ever has) the recommendation is to put the headlights on full beam for 30 seconds then try again. The current draw warms the battery giving full capacity.
Mine is a Magnetti Morelli. I think the stock st1100 battery is about 4.5kg so quite some saving. And the new battery is lower so less weight lower down in the car
I thought my motobatt was light at 3.5kg but 870g...WOW
I use a lighter one than that on my force. And I did on the Jedi.never had an issue!
Is a force/ jedi 600cc?

No,I have a AB performance cbr1000 rr in the force. The Jedi had a carbed R1
I get mine from Allan McDonald on uphillracers forum.
I'm aiming for sub 400kg for my road legal megablade so if I purchase one of these & a set of force split rims that should do it

You'll be pretty close depending on seat,cage and tyres id imagine, but 405 - 410 would still be very light.
Some of the hillclimbers have pretty light westfields but not 100% sure on the exact weights as I'm in a different class at events. Ours are
extremely light indeed
There are CEC Westfields under 400Kg.
I have the largest Lithium that Russbost does and its only issue is low ambient temp. If you try and start my car and the ambient is under 8-9 deg it
struggles, you have to leave it then try again and then repeat. It will crank it at full speed once the battery is at the right temp. Apart from
that all good.
Besides starting the car, how do these Lithium Ion batteries cope with electric reverse? I guess with the car being in use it'll help with the battery being warmer than typically it would when starting her up??
apparently in cold weather if you 1st put your lights on until they go bright this will warm up the battery to!!
Also you can lay them on their side which is useful if you want less aerodynamic drag!!

How long do these type of batteries hold charge? I tend to take my Indy out over the weekend and I'm wondering if I'll need to leave it on trickle charge over the week.
My car used to sit for up to a month and just fire up straight away.
How the hell are they getting car engines westfields under 400kg? That seems lighter than the bec's

I'm running a LiFePO4 Shido on my MK Indyblade (RRX motor) & the weight saving is ridiculous!
Zero issues with it's performance.
I did also upgrade my reg/rec unit to a SHINDENGEN FH012AA MosFet with a custom heatsink fan
