On most cars the thermostat causes a diversion, and the coolant still flows in a circuit, but just not through the radiator.
The thermostat seems to be external on the Z, and only has one inlet and outlet. So it stops coolant flow completely?
Can anyone tell me how the coolant system on the zzr1100 is designed to work?
