Im using a ZZR1100 engine. What id like to know if anyone has used this engine what did you do out the clutch operation as its hydraulic. Is there a conversion to be able to use a cable or is there a suitable sized master cylinder I could use
With a bike engine the best master cylinder is always the one off the bike, I believe all ZZR1100, ZX10 (89-90) & ZZR1200 (NOT Zx12!) are the same, fairly simply to adapt to a pedal box.

Ok, so first I removed a section from the front of the cylinder so it has a flat face

Modified M/Cyl

Welded a bracket to the front of existing pedal box to accept the new cylinder

Bracket to front of pedal box

slimmed & rounded off the existing pushrod for the car cylinder

Pushrod thro' pedal box frontplate

Cylinders all in place from above

Pedal box

& from the side

pedal box clutch

This is on my own bespoke pedal box for the Furore, but principle is identical on any pedal box
Or use a bike rear brake master cylinder: www.locostbuilders.co.uk/viewthread.php?tid=175321
