I fitted the clutch cable today on the blade, just wondered if others took up the slack in the spring on the engine end, it feels fine but
there's only about 20mm pull on the cable, does that sound about right?
ta,
Rich.
Thanks Snoopy, feels fine when I push it, bit of a pig to get adjusted though but all done now.
Rich.
What kind of pedal are you using?
What kind of pedals do you guys use to pull a clutch cable?
A clutch pedal?
Seriously though, most Ive seen are like mine - floor mounted pedals like ST etc sell. The cable inner comes through the bulkhead and attaches to the
pedal below the pivot, so when you press the pedal the cable is pulled by the pivoting action.
So did you buy a pedal with a 'slot' for the barrel-shaped cable end-thingie (technical term) or did you modify a pedal to suit?
Thanks for the help BTW.
