After the minor wiring panic of last week and a sunny day at Stoneleigh, we finally did it! Engine coughed spluttered and roared into life with only a
minor adjustments.
Thanks to all for the assistance and encouragement to get this far, now the work really starts.
Thought you might like to see the non SVA exhaust pipe will post a auidio/video when I can find out how. At the moment i have a 50meg AVI from my
camera that 3 minutes long, need to get it a bit smaller.
Anyway its late now after an exiting day and I have a bigger list now than I had before it stated so must get some rest.
BTW nice to put a few more faces to names at Stoneleigh, was a great weekend. Cheers, Colin

Looking at the way the exhaust arches over I guess it must be a Scorpion system
wont your front roll over bar get a bit warm ???
nice 1.
"Best feeling in the world"... second to, ermm... what was it now?
Good job!
Very short low quality.
Excuse drunken filmist wife!

It just needs a 90* bend and a straight piece so you can bracket it to the top of the roll bar. I've got a ZX9R one in the shed that fits like that.
Well done...!
The missus was happy then... Yeaaaaahhhhh!!!!
Now get whatever else you have to do in the house done... as my missus says!!
Very well done! I cannot wait to do the same.

Ah pushed the plug leads in properly this time....good one mate. Tis was a nice sunny day at stoney. That exhaust is much more wicked than you described!
Congrats on getting it up and running. I ran mine up like that initially with the standard bike exhaust, albeit without a silencer for added neighbour
annoyance
It did almost backfire on me though (literally!) - initially I connected up the coilpack triggers the wrong way so there I was standing on the drivers
side merrily leaning over the carbs and opening the throttles to get it to start which resulted in a huge backfire about 9" from my ear! Luckily
the ringing subsided after a few days
Well done mate. That exhaust looks wicked... Are u building it outside?
