Any one using one of these, are they the same as the ZX 12 or a complete new setup.
Opinions please.

I wanted a ZZR1200 but couldn't find one at the right price. The gear box ratios are wider spaced than the ZX12R and so you don't need a low ratio diff to get a good top speed and you don't have to suffer an overly tall 1st gear either.

What would you call the right price?.

It has more torque but less power, AFAIK. More tourer than sports engine, hence the longer gear ratios.

A Kawasaki dealer told me the engine block is the same as the ZX12, but everything else is different.
