just a quickie, are bike engine batteries usually the same size?
and if so does anyone have the dimensions?
Something like a YTX12-BS will be fine, the dimensions are on that

If you want to order one, speak to Mike Field and tell him its for a BEC, he'll probably do you a deal because he races in the RGB.

That's a lead-acid battery. Are those the ones to use? I bought a gel cell
like this. What are your thoughts on this one? I liked it because it
stated it was standard for the fireblade and it is increadibly light.

Bike shop near us has gel filled batteies but they need a trickle charger like the optimate type
