Hi,

A number of you guys are running original bike airboxes but cut down to fit. What are you guys using to glue the airbox back together after you've hacked it about?

Cheers

Jim

Hi Jim I used sikaflex.

I've noticed Loctite now market a "hard plastics" adhesive. Haven't tried it myself as yet but might be worth a look.

As part of my very short welding course I was introduced to plastic welding and assumed thats what was being used.

I thought Sikaflex would be a bit too........ flexible.

I rivetted and glassed mine to seal it.

What about using a hot glue gun? Could get messy if you're not careful but sets nicely when cold with a slight amount of flex, and can fill gaps quite well.
