HAVE FITTED A RACETECH PRESSURE SENDER REMOTE MOUNTED. BUT WAS WONDERING IF I NEEDED TO FIT THE ORIGINAL SWITCH AS WELL..OR DOES IT HAVE TO BE FITTED
FOR SVA..?.
IT SEEMS A BIT OF GRIEF TO GET A T PIECE AND MOUNT IT ALL
When I'm driving I don't get to look at the gauges too often - even when I've been cautious I only managed to check the dials every few
minutes. It's nice to know that a total loss of oil pressure will bring up a bright light to ccatch my attention!

Dont think the SVA man gives a hoot wether you've got any oil pressure at all, or oil for that matter as long as its not coming out of the exhaust
As others have said SVA dont care about oil pressure etc, but a word of advice on fitting it, dont just fit it into a T because with two senders on
they are relatively heavy and the amount of vibrations from a bike engine mean the T pieces have a nasty habit of breaking off..... at best you get an
engine bay full of oil, at worse you lose the engine.
Most people fit the pressure sender to a length of braided hose and then mount the sender itself on the chassis somewhere, and if you want to keep the
oil pressure light switch then put the T at the end of this hose, although personally Id not bother with the light because they come on so low that
unless you're idling at the time, your engine is likely to be damaged before it actually comes on.

Or you can do what I did - fit a oil pressure switch that comes on below 25psi. Sometimes it flickers at tick-over, but you get used to that!
