Engine bay exit for end of fuel pipe
Avoneer - 3/8/05 at 09:50 PM

Hi,

Where is the best place for the solid copper fuel pipe to exit into the engine bay on my fireblade locost?

My pump will be at the back so no problems there.

Of the 4 corners of the tranny tunnel when looking into it from the front of the car (towards the back), the brake line will run down the top left so all the other 3 corners are available.

Any ideas / experience / suggestions?

Cheers,

Pat...

Brake line running top left Pat.... Do you mean bottom left? Either way, I would suggest top left (under or over brake line)and underneath engine cradle until its inline with fuel inlet on engine.

Yep, brake will be top left as I have a live axle and it needs to be mounted to a flexi at the back middle to join to the top middle of the axle casing.

Handbrake cable runs down the right side halfway up and is only one cable.

Is the pump better at the bottom of the chassis or the top then?

Where is the fuel inlet on the carbs and I pressume i'll need some flexible pipe in the engine bay from the copper pipe to the (pump) and then onto the carbs.
