Hoods are a bit heavier and not so well developed as most sevens but they are a cheap way into having just as much fun, have a very sociable club and there are loads of them around. Top selling kit car last year.

Robin Hoods? They are OK. As they are at the "budget" end of the kitcar market, there is quite a lot of work to get them built. Nowhere near as much involvement as a Locost. But if a builder goes into ownership with his eyes open, having studied the products at the shows, AND (importantly) spoken to owners on the club stands, then it is all worth while. Mine passed SVA on Thurs 18th first time, so it can be done. AND I know there are much better examples out there than mine.
I still take my hat off to Locost builders, the cars are in the main very well made.
