Hey guys, I found an Air Shifter on Ebay.com
C02
Shifter
"Seems" reasonable... don't know though.
Also, check out Exotic Sportbikes

Does it only do upshifts?
Not too sure, but I looked a bit deeper into the Sportbike site and they have a Pingel Electric Shifter that does down AND upshifts.
Now, if you could relay that to padles on the wheel, or push buttons, it would work assumably very well.
Also, is there a way you could keep track of the gears digitally on the dashboard?

Mechanical is best. Why add something else into the failure equation?
cos its cool of course!
It only does 400 shifts before you have to re-fill the gas.
That doesn't seem enough for a good track day or blast out in the countryside. You'd have to take a few spare cylinders?

Definately a valuable point. I'm sure it wouldn't affect the mechanism if you just filled a larger bottle... versus multiple bottles.
These things are for go-go boys. They pound the snot out of the transmission. Most motorcycles can be "powershifted" by preloading the
shift lever then back off the throttle a bit, no clutch required. These things force the issue by applying way more force on the shift lever then you
could apply with your foot.
