Are fireblades vtec?

I know they have variable cams, just is it done the same way as the cars?

They dont have variable cams at all as far as I know, certianly not the more commonly used 893/919 carbed engines. Are you sure you're not thinking of the VFR800 which I believe uses Vtec (which is only Honda's name for variable valve timing anyway, nothing special)

VFR800 has Vtec and is mostly hated due to where the step in power is.

I don't believe Fireblades are though.
