I'm about to convert my Locost from a 1300 GT Xflow to a ZX9re. Engine craddle and exhaust is complete, now ready to start the wiring. Does anyone know if the 100 Ohm resistor is needed in the ignition circuit on the 'e', I can't see any mention of it in the Kawasaki manual.
I also could do with info on same subject. I have just bought a 'C' type engine with full loom etc to go in an Avon.
Check out previous threads from MK9R as they cover most things involved in getting the 9R running, including the resistor.
