I am new to the kit car scenario and am building a phoenix zx9r. I live in nottingham so I would like to see some of the car in action. Could some one explain me how you get into track days and racing. Do I really need a racing license?

track days need no licence, some do ask to see a DVLA one though, as for racing then you need an MSA licence, join a motor club such as 750mc register for the race series you fancy, pay ya money and off you go, come along to donnington, you can suss the set up n share a natter......

yes, pit lane opens at 9am for 2x15 min sighting sessions then open at 9.30am proper,
