hi all
all you lot with hydrulic clutch,
what have you used?
i have a zx9r b
and tried loads of ways, next thing is to have the bike clutch master in the car
the use of the clutch is not too much of a prob as i have a flat shift and push button change,
just need some sort of clutch for trafic etc
any options would be great
cheers paul
I fitted the original bike lever, reservoir and master cylinder in the engine bay. Then ran a cable to the pedal. SVA passed at Newcastle and action
is smooth and easy to use, not a switch like some. Can post a photo if you like?
Which flat shifter are you using? Is on my list of mods for the summer.

I was pondering using the rear brake pedal off the bike as a clutch pedal.
Anyone done this?
hi just tried that,
didnt work got a full set up with hanger brackets and ped
so its nackered or not man enough.
or it could be my clutch?

What i had was also some crap with the hydroclutch
it was a pain in the ar*** to get the air out.
I also tried with a rearbrake cilinder (2 types) and 1 master wich on the begining didnīt work to.
Then i managed to get all the air out and the feeling / pressure rised.
When i now use the clutch i can see in the hoses a small amount of expansion...
Sow i think its just a question of deair...the system until the last bloudy bublle...
Tks
i have tried brake bleeders on it!
blown the air threw and also sucked it threw still no joy!
will keep trying
cheers
Can you get the slave cylinder higher than the master? We had a trail bike front brake that wouldn't bleed till the caliper was raised way up for the bubbles to rise on their own.
well sort it out went home ripped the garage apart found another clutch master,
stripped the slave off the engine
built it up bleed it on the garage bench for about 15mins
refitted it and wow it now works !
just got to figure out how to fix it to my floor mounted pedal box ! (doh)
In my case i just played an bit with the Hydro hose and instead of moving the puller in the pull direction, i discovered that i saw bubles coming in
the resvoir when pulling it away a bit for lets say 20 times..(it has a bit of play in that direction)
until 2 small bubles came out and in no time i had pressure..strange feeling eeehhh..
if you pull you feel the liquid doing its job..
Tks
Hand Clutch? Like the Karts use?

it was air
but most of the trouble was the first clutch master i used !
Hi there
I've got a ZX9R B type as well.
I initially tested a landrover master cylinder but the cylinder was too large.
I have usde the master cylinder off the bike, taken the lever off and used a connecting rod from the master cylinder to the pedal and welded up a
bracket to hold the bike cylinder on to the bulkhead, can take some pics if you like?
Cheers
Ian
