Hi guys! I have already learned quite a lot from you through the forum. I know now that I would like to build a BEC! I am leaning towards an MK R1,
but I have not seen an MK or in fact any other brand from up close.
I would like to visit a show and see the different makes, talk to the people and hopefully even talk to some owners or you guys (maybe have a ride??
). Which show would you recommend? I was thinking Newark. Will all the major players be there you think? And will anyone of you with a similar car
that I would like to build be there maybe?
Thanks!
Gergely
Stoneleigh without a doubt.
Stick to a carbed R1, in the middle of wiring my injected motor.
The biggest and best show is Stoneleigh
(although its no where near as good as its prime).
Next is Newark, not as many suppliers go but lots of owners do & the last time i went (2 / 3 years ago) they had a great autojumble.
when is newark kit show, it,s just down the road for me
Newark is on the 17th/18th June.
Thanks guys!
Newark is 17-18 June. I will check Stoneleigh then as you suggested and decide which one of the two I go to. And will remember the carbed R1 idea as
well!
Cheers!
You get treats like this at Newark.
Stoneleigh is the best for cars though.

Sorry about the size.
the owner must've been pissed off, the sign says 'Do not touch'
actually you'll find it says
Please
Do Touch
