trying to bench test Bandit 1200 -
turns over fine but wont start.
Oil presurre fine
Neutral light beaming away
Does any know about the interlocks
Have bridged open the clutch in wires and side stand relay wires.
Wasnt supplied the actual relay or neutal switches.
iginition siwtch is serria.
Any ideas?
some bike engines had a resistor fitted into the ignition switch so they couldn't be hot wired - got the one that came off the bike?
just a thought, know it is the case on hayabusa engnes....
I know this sounds stupid but do u know if its getting fuel.
Another test is to check if there is a spark by taking off the plug leads and holding them to earth.
If you dont have one or the other of these you know where to start looking.
You say you bridged the clutch and side stand wires. Aparently on some bikes they are wired the other way so that if they are left disconected the engine will start.
Can't remember the details but I'm sure you need to do something with the pink wire that was located behind the headlight.
No much help I guess.
