Hate to burst your bubble, but your tank needs a vent or a return to your inlet manifold if it is for oil.

Its only a catch tank for the breather pipe that comes off the top of my fireblade engine. im sure its the crankcase breather thingy..i think some just vent them to air but i was feeding her and thinking emmmmm

ChrisGamlin - 12/9/06 at 09:51 PM

It still needs to breathe though, otherwise its no longer a breather

nitram38 - 12/9/06 at 10:51 PM

If you do not have a proper breather, i.e. a vent, then your crankcase will pressurise and pump oil out everywhere.
Kind of making a 'catch tank' pretty pointless!

That looks awesome im doing it for sure but twice as nice !

StevieB - 13/9/06 at 09:36 AM

So just put a nice little vent hole in it then.

But then he'll not be able to sneak it back when she starts asking questions
