graememk - 2/2/07 at 08:12 PM

may i ask....

you you drink alot ?

froggy - 2/2/07 at 08:16 PM

graeme, nope tee totaler but run my own test station and have too much time on my hands lol, i mnanged to build my tl powered kitten for under £1500 and this should be well under a grand, the van is lettered up as the garage breakdown vehicle and the three wheeler will be signed up as a courtesy car!!

Bob C - 2/2/07 at 08:18 PM

Like your style mate!
You;re quite local in stoke - wouldn't mind dropping by to ask some kitten questions....
cheers
Bob

bob, im in silverdale st56nr im open saturday til three come and have a brew if you want, just so happens ive got a galvanised kitten chassis round the back of the garage

froggy - 2/2/07 at 08:27 PM

graeme, lifes too short to spend building cars properly so im going to lash them up with whatevers lying round, im more exited about this one than the kitten ! i do fully expect the reliant diff to grenade itself pretty quickly but with a few blobs of weld in the diff and i reckon im on for a four second 0-60.

I know where I'm coming for a service then

SeaBass - 2/2/07 at 10:02 PM

Seems like a good way to experience terminal understeer. Won't the diff explode when you first dump the clutch??

Cheers

Bob C - 2/2/07 at 10:51 PM

Cool, I'll try & drop in tomorrow early af
cheers
Bob

Saw the first pic and thought you were joking...

I hope for you sake your going to fit a roll bar.

froggy - 3/2/07 at 12:38 AM

once the body goes back on il build a cage and im under no illusions about the handling but in a straight line it should be ok. i know from experience that the pig axle will take 100hp and if i dont launch at full chat it will last a few thousand milesbefore the pinion bearings give up

froggy - 11/2/07 at 02:31 PM

fits like a glove passengers might get sweaty feet though!! Rescued attachment bits 033.jpg

my feet would be the last thing on my mind if i was in it

G.Man - 13/2/07 at 09:02 PM

That kittn could be cool wth some work on the handling...

I wish MNR/MK etc would build an atom style car...

Jon Ison - 13/2/07 at 09:14 PM

Speaking from experience, I have raced these plaggy pigs on the short ovals, they are easier too roll than a snow man down hill........

Your mad, barking mad.

Surprisingly quick as they are, god knows what it will be like with that motor,,,,,,,

Mad, barking mad, like it though.......

gottabedone - 14/2/07 at 05:21 PM

Froggy,

Your test station........does it test for sanity?

The 3 wheeler will upset Chavs better than that BEC Smart Car that we've all seen on video clips!! are you fitting Wheelie Bars to stop it turning turtle on the first launch??

awesome

Steve

G.Man - 14/2/07 at 05:34 PM

Eh? Hang on a minute, isnt a kitten a 4 wheel model?

Surely that is a regal or robin?
