The paddle shifts are back, with a few mods!
pathfinder - 14/3/07 at 09:34 PM

I have just got the waterjet cutting back from the finishing shop so we now have another batch ready for sale.

The centre section has been beefed up to 6mm thk. aluminium to give a more positive feel and the paddle width can now be adjusted by an extra 30mm!

Choice of all raw aluminium or aluminium centre and powdercoated black + & - paddles.

Price is still £78 including P&P

Regards

Thom

Looks extremely good again, although we would expect nothing less.

Have you managed to design one yet that enables you to retain the Sierra indicator stalk?

come on thom, pull your finger out and make some for use with sierra column

Ditto, I'm 50/50 but its really useful keeping the Sierra switchgear as I don't like having toggles etc for indicators / wash wipe etc.

I would definitely have one if I could keep the stalks. Even if I had to hack them up a bit.

Cheers chaps
I will have to pull my finger out and try and get something sorted for the sierra stalks.

If you want to be proper flash and keep the stalks, I’m working on an electronic kit with mini paddles mounted to the back of the steering wheel, the prototype is being machined this week so I should have some photos soon!

Yep, If you can get them to fit with the sierra stalks then I'll be after one too.

I am just starting to create my paddle shift.
In the photo is a fiat punto column with a wilwood quick release boss.
My rose joints are spaced at 75mm centres.
My steering wheel is 300mm.
Will one of your paddle shifts fit these dimensions?

I ment to ask how much movement do you need to operate the gears?
Can you measure how much the push/pull cable/rod moves for an R1 ?
Is it 10mm or more in each direction?
