Turbo bec compression question

I know its common to use two head gaskets to lower the c/r, would it not be better to use a spacer under the barrels? any thoughts for and against?

Thats what they use on a lot of turbo 'busas to lower the compression, I guess you can only do it on engines that have seperate barrels though!

i hear good things about ferriday near stafford who do shims and various laser cut shims/gaskets for turbo cars/bikes

Yes me too, and i was going to contact them, but then i thought, hang on surely a cheaper option is to space under the barrels where there's no compression to worry about.

As long as a double gasket will lower it enough then for sure.....
What CR are you running?
