Tri Oval can what bike is it fitted to

hi

a superbike went past me the other day new 06 reg and the can wasnt an underseat one but it was a normal one

however it sounded nice and appeared as standard

but it was blumin gorgeous carbon trioval kind

totally forgot to think what bike it was anyone any ideas what it could be and if its a standard can ?

I would think that it was an aftermarket can designed specifically for the (normally also tri-oval) GSXR1000 K5 and above.

(I think it's K5 and above anyway)

well thats the standard one and I think what Chris saw was an aftermarket one due to it being carbon?

GSXR's have a tri oval on as standard and the K5 1000's came with a special edition stumpy yoshie can for a while

Kwaks are all underseat
Yams also although the R6 has a tiny GP style one
Honda again underseat.

Suzuki are the only ones who still use starndard can positioning on there thou's with the 600's and 750's having GP style ones

Oh and not one manufacturer uses Carbon cans as standard.
