Have'nt done much to my MK Indyblade kit for a bout 6months due to a seriously busy life. I've just about finished the inner pannelling
which was the first job I started.
Lifes still busy but its time I got on with it so I'm after some inspiration.
Please let me know if you have any pics in your archives. I've looked through a load but they all seem to be of locosts etc.
What I'd really love to see is a video clip just so I can hear that 14000rpm raw. Anyone got one?
Thanks guys.
Oh and just like to say thanks again to Paul who I bumped into at a trackday who took me out in his R1 powered Indy
Get yourself to the Kit Car show at Donny on the w/e of the 13th Sept - much inspiration as you can handle....
Danny-boy,
Just to let you know I'll be giving the R1 Indy another day out at Snetterton on 22nd Sept. Should have a quick rack and some Avon ACB10's
installed by then so should be an even more hairy ride!
P.S. The suspension locknuts are definitely secure now.........
Cheers
Paul

If it were'nt for those locknuts I'd have never got my car out on track as I took your place
Who's running the 22nd? Which track company? Any space for some Jap crap?
These should help a little

Chris

For sonic inspiration might I recommend

I think his name is Alan, and he has a great video file (mpg) of his car on a rolling road while tuning .

The sound of his Locozaki is brilliant. I seperated off the sound off the video and I set it as my windows start-up sound. Scares the neighbours!
Mind you all my friends think I've lost it!

Dr Conrod
Yep, the big nuts that hold the upper rear wishbone to the hub came loose and my rear wheel went to a funny angle..... Luckily no real damage other
than a knackered CV joint.
I had the car setup (camber etc) prior and didn't check how tight the nuts had been done up by the mechanic. My fault really. Now have double
nuts each side of the wishbone and a drop of loctite. Those buggers won't move now.... I've also painted a stripe across the nuts and check
them often!
Alternative is to lockwire a single nut to the wishbone itself.
Cheers
