Ok folks..
This is one job that I'd like to 'outsource.' Would anyone be prepared to do the whole lead extension/epoxy job for me in return for
pictures of the queen?
I have neither the time or the inclination for this one.
Cheers
TC
Are they anything like blade ones?
They didn't need any glue or owt - just plug and play and I have a spare length of HT lead.
Pat...
I did mine on te blade and it was really simple, no epoxy involved, they just push in, unless R1 are different of course.
Rich.
r1 are glued in and are a pain in the ass to get out, send me an email tim and i will see if we have some on the shelf already done we can swap for
you
cheers

E-mail sent!
BTTT
Marc doesn't have the coils so I'm back to square 1. Anyone???
Cheers
Tim, It's not that hard, the only thing you have to watch is the clips on the coils, I suggest you unclip them first (I broke mine
).
Easiest way to get the HT lead out is to put the lead in the vise, and pull the coil. You do need to pull hard !!
Do the same with the caps.
Cut the new leads to length and push them into the caps and coils (putting the clips on first
).
Use copper core HT lead, 7mm I think.
Steve
Think VWP will do custom HT leads...
