anyone know where to get info on my gsxr engine, ie the year? suzuki say they need the vin, which i don't have, and dvla need the reg. no. which i don't have either.

Have a look at http://www.fiche-man.com/suzuki/suzuki.htm , he sells parts catalogues and manuals on CD for just about every recent bike. I bought one for my blade and the disc has every model from 93-02, a mate bought the R1 disc and it has the parts catalogue and the manual on the same disc. I bought for £10 off ebay, I think he sells them on his site for £12.50. The parts breakdowns are genuine Honda/yam/suz and it also has build dates based on engine number.
