I would like to replace my zx9 ecu any one know of a company that does a aftermarket ecu?
Will megajolt work?
mega jolt just does ignition, if you wanted to do fuel injection you would need mega squirt instead.
any particular reason you want to replace the ecu? if its for tuning the normal way to go is a power commander, dont hear of that many people
replacing bike ecus as they are generally a lot more flexible than a car and also handle a lot more.
VEMS ECU is also worth a look
www.vems.co.uk
i changed my engine from a c to e and the c ecu requires a sensor i don't have on the e engine. Nightmare

Megajolt would not be suitable as the maximum revs it will work at is limited to about 10,000rpm by the ford edis module

Haltch E8 ECU.
An Emerald is probably one of the most commonly used in kit cars and has been used on some bike engines (Wyn (lsdweb) has one on his R1) so you may
find someone has a ZX9 base map that you could start off with. Without that you'll need a fair bit of dyno time to get it up and running properly
though (ie £££), and another issue you may have with any aftermarket is getting one that's compatible with your trigger wheel pattern as certain
ECUs need particular patterns to work.
Far easier to get an E model ECU / loom off Ebay Id think.
