OrgasmicCry - 8/11/07 at 05:08 PM

Hi everyone...earlier this year I nearly bought a MNR Vortx+....but then discovered the Lighter Faster Better Sprint R from RoadRunner Racing. So I bought one of those instead, and am building now.

Please feel free to come visit my Sprint R build blog site http://www.lighterfasterbetter.co.uk

Sprint R owners/builders especially welcome!

bugger me Jubal how did you spot this thread 8 picoseconds after I'd posted it? Are you some sort of LoCostBuilders super gimp and live on here all day?

MikeR - 8/11/07 at 05:18 PM

8 pico seconds, it was a whole 3 minutes - thats an ages on here at times!!!!

Jubal - 8/11/07 at 05:21 PM

It was pure chance your post was at the top of the list just as I came on. I was taking a quick break from configuring callmanager and routers!

That is one nuts Elise bud...

Good work...

What was the total rough cost to convert that from K to Type R?

Chris.

You're not wrong there.
Check out this one. I had a set of carbs for sale a while back. Sale didn't exactly take an age....

Chris.

Nick's Type-R Elise conversion was £2200 for engine, £2800 for kit, 3 weeks of his life (almost literally!) and about £300 on ancilliaries. He says it goes...and goes...and goes... (never driven VTEC before) which is great...but now he needs brakes. Which is of course a GOOD thing

Eddie that's quality, it still looks in really good condition. Perhaps I shouldn't have sold it after all! Chris what's the magazine it's in, I soooo need to get a copy of that!

Crazy Eddie - 8/11/07 at 08:54 PM

It's actually going in the BEC owners club newsletter as apposed to a magazine (although been in Westfield World a few times in background )

Tis going great mate and getting it's fair share of track time too now that I have been bitten by the bug!
