cheap! I'd want to see the engine number isn't tampered with at that price...

well I tried to help.

the Mr holdsworth id a top class F1 sidecar racer and I think he is on the FRSA board so I dont think he would be racing with bent engines

He has left his number a simple call will prove whats not too good to be true

why dont you say you spoke to him and what he told you????

All his outfit went to newzealand along with about 5 engines! and yes he did find this one, in his garage ( perhaps his garage is a little bigger than yours!)

I sent a txt late last night asking if it was still available, thinking it was to late to call, around 11pm, got an instant reply saying yes so called straight back on the phone, the word "nicked" or "stolen" never entered into the conversation from either side ?

The conversation went pretty much as follows......

"Hi, my name is Jon, it was me who just sent you the txt regarding the R1 engine, I am looking to maybe upgrade over the winter, I take it it is still available ?"

"yes"

"would it be possible to come over and have a look at it"


"yes, but I'm out with my son in the morning, skiing, will have to be in the afternoon, I will call you when I get home"


"great, when I come over I would also like to bring a sample box with me that my wife has made to ship parcels sold on ebay, its a bespoke size to suit the product, as I recognise your name from work and we use Holdsworth packaging I put 2 & 2 together and realised you manufacture cardboard box's, maybe you could take a look at it and give us a quote to supply, kill 2 birds with one stone maybe ?"

"Sure bring it with you"

"ok, look forward to your call"

It might not be too good to be true.

He might have found it in his garage . lol.

Hope you buy the engine seems a good price thats why I posted the link. It was actually to help out. I would not have posted it from a link of fleabay but I know this site and the people on there dont sell knicked engines, thankyou.

As you said in it "I hope you buy the engine" I assumed you was talking to me as I was the only one who put his hand up and owned up to making a phone call, that and the fact no one else as posted since, obviously I got it wrong ?

I don't think anyone meant to cause offence mate, I know I didn't, I just read it and my first thought was too good to be true! Must be gettng cynical in my old age lol !!
