I hope its a proper charcoal one!.

I've tried doing a Gas BBQ for New Years and the bottle just froze up!......

Should this ever happen to you DO NOT.. I repeat DO NOT turn the cylinder upside down and shake it vigourously whilst the BBQ is still lit!

Yes its a proper coal one and yes we are mad but at least we can say we have done it our way.. We have had to turn people away as more than we can cope with want to come so we must have struck a cord somewhere!!!!!!!!!!!!! if im good i may even be allowed to spend a few hours around the garage and get the engine fired for the first time . Didnt think that you would like to freeze yourself at the asylum russ .what a grin tho and you thought i was mad before!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Actually, it's not as mad as it sounds.... I've got a mini BBQ in our front garden. Fire it up when I wanted some barbequed fish... somehow non BBQd fish doesn't taste anything close....

I do go back inside whilst it cooks though!!!

I think they're reporting rain......

Good on you - I did the same for New Year's eve a couple of years ago. Nice and warm for the smokers to stand around and chat...IIRC it was one of the few years we actually had snow at N/Y

Everyone makes a fuss over Christmas dinner, so I told the wife I would cook a few years ago.

We all had turkey, chips and curry sauce. I seem to remember it tasted lovely. Even the kids eat all theirs
