imp paul - 3/1/08 at 05:58 PM

i have a 150 turbo sip mig but no good for stainless steel need a tig

Simon - 3/1/08 at 08:33 PM

It might be enough to get it all tacked together. I used my Mig (with stainless wire) to tack most of mine together, then took it to work to TIG.

welderman - 4/1/08 at 08:24 AM

Could be done as Simon says.

If you can tack it up, i will weld it up for you no probs. Rescued attachment turbo assemble welded & dressed.jpg

Welderman, where did you find those elbows - i like 'em!!

Cheers, Rich.

welderman - 5/1/08 at 10:39 AM

if you want Paul tack it up with mild steel, if your not polishing it etc, i can then put some small welds down grind yours off and then run over the top.

Are you sure you are going to be able to spool that up with only 1200cc worth of exhaust gases???

To need a GT35 i guess you are aiming for 500bhp+?? Thats gonna be quite some engine!

welderman - 5/1/08 at 11:44 PM

you need to see the LIST of turbo parts Paul has accumilated, it's huge.

garage19 - 6/1/08 at 12:01 AM

I think he should start a project thread on my bike turbo forum (linky in sig)

oadamo - 6/1/08 at 12:06 AM

ive just put this turbo against the map and engine spec. its way of the map lmao.the more revs the more off the map it is.
