as above says really is there any difference, i have ordered a swing sump from zx zone
Thanks
Mac
I always get confused between ZX & ZZR derivatives..
IIRC there was a ZZR1200 which was based on the ZZR1100 but stretched to 1164cc from 1052cc.
ZZR1200
Then there was the more modern ZX12R which is a totally different engine.
I think the US also designate the ZZR1400 as a ZX14 - but there again I'm already confused.
zx12/zx12r sump is the same all years 2000-2005
great thanks guys

my main worry was that they might have changed the casting and the aligning of the holes
here is a nice sump with full 360 deg turning pickup but a bit pricey at £580

yeah chatted to the guy who had them made, as you said bit pricey, so have gone for one of these.
going to fit an accusump as well, all for less than half the price of a full dry sump system!

that looks like the ape 1 does it spin 360 deg ? nice bit of kit

yep, yeah thats them
ZX12 / ZX12R the mounting holes are the same. The oil feed pipe lugs and supports are different lengths and may need material adding or removing
otherwise they will work loose and fall off.
