looks and sounds good Paul. But my my you seem to have aged grown a tash and got more hair than me.
Bet your chuffed now you have a car to drive the nuts off though, well done.
Joe
Sounds awesome Paul, great to be back on the road, I feel a bec conversion coming on again
does sound nice, cant wait to drive mine.
was that 166 as the fly?
also, when the noise suddenly jumps (as it comes into its power band?) what revs was that?
Damn, I'm at work and cant access U Tube. My cars off to MK engineering this weekend for the exhaust so hopefully should be making similar
noises as yours.
What airbox do you have and also are you running a power commander?
Paul
Yes Dan 166bhp at the flywheel, power starts to come in strong from around 5000rpm,right up just over 13000rpm where the max power achived, but only
drops a couple of bhp right up to the rev limiter at 13500rpm.
And Paul, not running a powercomander although I have got one,I just wanted to start off with everything as near standard as possible for a good base
figure, running standard airbox under the mk bonnet hump, and Martin keenan manifold, with a standard carbon can extra long to keep the noise
down
,performance wise you both will not be dissapointed
,I did post the dyno results on monday,so if your interested do a search.

Mine will be running an ali airbox (similar to bigrich's) with a performance filter. Also, i got a power commander 3 in the post last night all
the way from Orlando (£100 what a bargain
)
So hopefully will perform a bit better than standard
Paul
PDQ squeezed another 5bhp out of mine with the pc, and made the drivability so much better! stalling was reduced too! Thats a high revving beast isnt
it paul! i like!
As for using the std air box, I am too to keep noise down for tracks, but i drove it the other day with the top off round the block and bloody hell
did it sound nice! Im sure it was quicker too!
