When I purchased my car I was told the Engine was a 2003 GSXR1000 engine, I wish to purchase a Power Commander and just want to make sure the Engine is definately a 2003.

Is there a definitive way of telling the age of the engine?

Try ringing Suzuki GB. They will be able to give you the exact date from the engine number.
