prop adaptor
Mark G - 17/3/08 at 08:22 PM

I'm building an Indy with a Fireblade engine. I need to order a prop adaptor soon but do I have to get one from MK or will one from www.sprocket-adaptors.co.uk do the job?

I'm just concerned that MK have modified my prop so they know what size to make the adaptor.

Thanks
Mark.

I would get it from MK if they are making your prop aswell. At least you know that it will all fit

this is what I was thinking. Didn't know if they would all be the same or not though.

Only thing is MK charge around £15 more. Better to be safe though.

I think they only make 2 sizes anyway and MK gave me the wrong size... but an easy fix

Make sure you get the bolts from MK for the connection to the diff as they are a pain to find.

Also, the connection of the adapter to the prop can be a squeeze depending on what engine so measure and cut your bolts carefully

I've got one of the sprocket-adaptors. Very happy with the item.
