mark chandler - 22/3/08 at 01:57 PM

Okay I have had a search and it looks like I need to get a set of blackbird springs as an OEM alternative for my little blade engine.

So now the confusion, which ones?

linky thing

At this site they list two years, which set to go for?

Help please.

Regards Mark

I changed the oem with the barnett ones and works pretty well even after about 12 trackdays.. Same price as the oem one as well!!

Barnett MT-99-5 rings a bell, but double check on that.

Thanks for the replies, I'm after some heavy duty ones as turbo is going on so the power will shoot up, until it goes bang!

Cheers Mark

JC uses (possibly modded) Hayabusa ones IIRC.

Might be worth getting the basket banded as well probably (steel ring around the basket fingers), to increase the strength of the basket itself, speak to Andy Bates about that, its not a huge undertaking to do I dont think.
