Is the sump off a blade 893 same as one off a 919 ?
I would say they are,AB performance list a billet sump which fits all the 893 and 919 blades ,so the mounting to the engine must be the same, but I am
sure someone will be along soon to confirm Joe

thanks Paul, will give Andy a bell in the morning.
Joe
ps, cars going well i see.

Just to cofirm 893 baffle is same as 919 - if transfering across dont forget that op relief valve needs to swap as well as the bottom of the valve is
modded to stop hydraulic lock on the sump floor - if you dont do this oil pressure will just carry on rising until it fires the filter off - bang
hope that helps
Andy
As you have rightly spotted in order to get the prices down we have to machine in volume so we end up with literally thousands of pounds worth of
stock on the shelf which can be a worry if we dont have a steady turn over of them.
In the meantime I will look at the GSXR sump to see what we can do - anyone got a blown gixer?
As regards the oil surge being experienced at the mo - have you considered an accusump install as a stop gap - we used them on sidecars quite
successfully whilst they dont tackle the route problem they can alleviate the symtoms and buy you some time starvation wise on cornering and
braking

Andy
Thanks Andy. The only engine I've got is the current GSX-R750, firmly bolted into the car and competing. Hopefully someone out there can lend Andy a scrap engine?
