Guys, i;m building a locoblade (aries motorsport BEC), just a question out of interest whats the road tax for a under 1000cc BEC for a year.

Shouldnt make any difference, before a 2000/2001 everything is done on engine size.

Im running a 99 R1 and paid £120 for 12 months yesterday.

There are only 2 brackets, 1549cc and less or 1550cc and above. The lower bracket is, I believe, £120 per year.

All kit cars will be part of this scheme rather than the newer CO2 based brackets so Andy, looks like you have paid too much!
