My MK has a age related plate which i think is due to the age of engine or donor, we are now fitting a ZX12 motor.

I am unsure if will need a CAT also how do i go about telling the DVLA?

No changes to emmision checks or V5 info apart from engine number and capacity. IMHO

Fill in the details on the V5.

Return it.

Get new log book back.

It seems you need to provide additional information now, especially if you are reducing the engine size.
